About the Event
The Community Blood Center has announced a blood emergency. The region's blood supply is dangerously low and donors are desperately needed! Every year, we host a blood drive in honor of Blake Cazier. It's important to give blood, if you can, because you can save the lives of people undergoing surgeries, cancer patients, trauma patients, and people with chronic illnesses. Someone is needing blood every two seconds and there is no substitute for blood. Whether someone needs whole blood, red cells, platelets, or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation.
